Awards
Design awards are today’s benchmark for professional quality and become increasingly important as marketing tools for the manufacturing companies.
In over four decades, we have received countless awards for design excellence. These include e.g.:
1st Price Griffo d'Oro Carrozzeria Bertone, Braun Price, IDSA Gold, GOOD DESIGN Award Chicago, TopTen of the iF Product Design Awards Hannover, iF Design Award China, Red Dot Design Team of the Year 1992, various Red Dot Awards, Design Prize Switzerland, Design Prize Baden-Wuerttemberg, “Faces of Design 2010”, Brunel Award for the ICE test train, EISA Award European AV Design, “National Commendation for Invention” by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation for the design of the 500 Shinkansen Nozomi train in 1998, Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany for the design of the ICE 3 as well as several nominations.
Up to now one of the highlights is the selection of the Transrapid 07 for an official special issue stamp “Design in Germany” by the German Post, 1999.
